Infinite patience brings instant enlightenment

patience

ENLIGHTENMENT

when reality's light
begins to shine
all the dust and dirt
that hides in corners
comes from out behind
its hiding in the darkness
of our separated mind

and then,
along comes sprits
wholly whisking broom
owning and embracing
dusty, dirty corners
of guilt and falsity
now swept away
never truly being
heart now softening
light now brightening
gifts of loving
grace extending
beyond illusions walls

and then,
along comes the holy spirit
with it's broom in hand
and as you embrace and own these corners
of dirt and false thought
it is swept away as if it had never been
the heart softens, the light grows brighter
and the gift of grace "descends"
