Availability of the Mind That Was in Christ Jesus
We must go further than mind science and mental healing, and come to that place where we work in accordance with the revelation or teaching of Christ Jesus. Jesus lived “not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit.”…
The mind that was in Christ Jesus is as available to you today as if Jesus were sitting in this room. If you do not believe that this is true, try this experiment: Sometime when you are feeling tired or ill and have the opportunity to be by yourself, close your eyes and ask yourself whether the mind that was in Christ Jesus was inside his brain or inside his body, or was he stating a profound truth when he said: “Before Abraham was, I am. … Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. … If I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you.”
If you believe those words to be the truth, you will relax in this realization: “All right! Mind of Christ Jesus, Father within, the Christ! As long as You are with me, I can sit back and rest in peace!” then rest in that peace and see if you do not have an instantaneous healing without “taking thought.”
At first you may not be healed of your more serious claims and problems because most of us are still in that place where we might not be able to accept such healings without thinking we had seen a miracle.” But begin in small ways with the lesser problems. Rest in the mind that was in Christ Jesus and see if it is not as available to you here and now as if Jesus were in the room.

The healing that Joel speaks of here is simply having our consciousness lifted from the level of whatever problem it was that faced us, up into the realm or region of Spirit where It alone fills all space. If this is done, the problem evaporates...is no longer in our consciousness, hence,is nothing...for however long the experience of being uplifted is maintained. Since it isn't an established state of our consciousness yet, we'll find ourselves again troubled(only to a lesser degree)as we return to our selves once more.
