Holy Spirit's Advice
One way to let go of
the thinking in the thinking mind
is to watch it.
Pay attention to the stories it tells,
not from a point of involvement and belief,
but from the perspective of learning.
What are these stories telling you?
How are they teaching you to see the world?
What are they asking you to expect from your brothers?
Are these stories helpful?
If not, why are you listening?

i find frustration's source
a wish to have the story be
what i think it needs to be
for me to be safe
and free from care
and scare
i smile in seeing
the joke i play
upon myself
a fool's controlling
mechanization
to replace my
sure salvation
in love's allowing attitude
