desire only to be ~the open heart of love~

which is to be the vessel thru which

the love that Christ is ....that god is

extends itself eternally...

~the open heart~ has surrendered its guilty self

Back into the hands of a perfectly loving god

Thus revealing to itself

Its own innocence

Now the remembrance of the truth of its innocence

begins to burst forth

Like the petals of the lotus

As it embraces itself in its own

Self-love…

As it allows all unlike love within

Its temporary dream

To dissolve as a mist that has veiled

The beauty of the sun that ~waits in the wings~

The ~open heart~ has

Remembered to only place its value

On its union with

Its true Self..

Having come face to face

With its guilty self

And seen that this one

Could not possibly be outside

Of itself

It embraces the effects of its temporary

Insanity

And ~values~ only the love it has come

To know it truly IS…

The ocean of love that rests in silence

And springs forth all of creation

Desires to move thru you

As ~ itself~

And touch the furthest of stars…

This touch ….this love that knows that

all exist now within its heart of love

desires to awaken all of itself

back into a full state of remembrance

of this one reality...

It embraces itself

as ~you~ choose to love

the Self

without exception..

it is to be responsible

For your union

With that which breathes you

Within each now eternally..

It is to choose and value

Only that ~ one real relationship~

From which all others

Spring forth…

Allowing all that you have created unlike this union..

This reflection of pure love

To simply fall away from view…

In order for you

To experience ~ yourself~

As that which brings heaven

To earth again

Ask yourself this

Within each breath…within each choice…

Do my thoughts in this moment …this now arising

Honor the truth of me…my god self..

~my essence within that is the presence of love~

Or do they honor my guilty self

Thus creating worlds upon worlds

Of unreality…

What am I truly choosing to value

Within each arising???

That aspect of myself that I created

The moment I believed I could

Possibly be separate from this love

Or am I choosing from that part of me

That ~knows~

It is already ~one with god..???

Yes… it is for you to remember

What it is to ~love as god loves~

Ask yourself each day…

How does my father love ???

How does my Creator…that which

I am an extension of eternally

How does this ocean of love that

Lives within me ~truly~ love ???

How can I simply be a vessel for this

Love that desires to transform and bless creation

thru me???

The answer is your pathway home…

Love allows all things…

Love embraces all things..

Love transforms all things

And thus transcends

~all things~

To take it deep within your being that

~there is nothing outside of you~

And that all of you is worthy

Of your love…

~this is how I love you~

For I know the love that brought you forth

Only extends the good..the holy and the beautiful…

That which ~it is~..

~that which you are~

eternally

Allow this to be your only one desire

For it is thru that very choice

That you will remember

The true ~creator~ you are….

Peace be with you

Eternally I am one with you…

IN AN INSTANT

Can it be that you and i are one?

Can you be a reflection

of that part of me

 from which I separated so long ago?

and yet... in an instant...

this mistaken thought of separation

 dissolves into the nothingness

 from which it came...

in an instant...

 I see that all appearing

as ‘other’ than me

is not true

in an instant...

 I see what has always been true...

that there is no one ‘here’ but me...

that all creation I experience

is a projection of my inner world...

an experience of what I believe to be true

in an instant...

 I see all as a reflection of myself

and gladly embrace this reflection

as my own creation

with this embrace

comes a blessing...

filled with an all-encompassing Love...

extending Itself to all...

and in an instant all reflections

dissolve in the Truth

of Its essence...

Love...

only Love...

for in the end

there is only Love...

Only Love is real.

is to fly with me

“knowing”  that peace has

already happened…

that peace is in truth all there

could be….

to rise above the thoughts

of the world…

to radiate peace wherever

you find yourself landed

in time…

to allow all the comings and goings

to be as they are knowing

they are perfect…

yet….to fly with me

is to allow my wings

to carry your very life…

to let go of the body

your identity as such

and become one with my wings

by owning that this is your rightful…

that in truth you never

you have simply had your

attention placed

on a thought that you could

be separate from that

which you are…

I move my attention

About the same time I started reading A Course in Miracles I developed a
close friendship with very bright and loving woman who had spent many years
studying the Bible. She was interested in what was said in ACIM and even
more interested in how it differed from traditional Christian teachings.
Often times we would take turns reading text passages from ACIM to each
other. Then we would discuss their meaning.

From the very first passages we read together she would complain about how
difficult the book was to understand and ask me if there was an "ACIM for
Dummies" available. Why would anyone write a book that is so difficult to

definitions, so many personal pronouns, so many WORDS, so many pages, and
all that damned poetry! She was rather temperamental and at times she would
rant about how Jesus must not have cared a wit about the reader; if He had
the book would be a hell of a lot easier to understand.

Before we stopped reading together (it was too perplexing and annoying to
her) she repeatedly asked me to write an "ACIM for Dummies" saying that it
was sure to be best seller. "Jesus certainly could have made it a lot
easier."

I agreed with her. "Jesus certainly could have made it a lot easier to
understand." But to me it was no mistake that the book was difficult. She
said that this was because the author of ACIM was an educational "elitist".
By this time she doubted that the author was Jesus. Whoever the author was
he or she must not have wanted anyone outside of Mensa to read it. Of course
this conclusion made the author worlds apart from the kind and gentle Jesus
who taught us to "do unto others."

Still, if Jesus could have made it easy to understand, why didn't He? What
could possibly be the value of making it so tough to read? Jesus could have
chosen a different scribe; one with a simpler style and a more pedestrian
vocabulary. For God's sake, Helen was a PhD who taught psychoanalytic
psychology to doctors at Columbia medical school; talk about literate!

But I had then and have now the nagging suspicion that ACIM is tough for a
reason. It's no mistake that I often read a paragraph and by the time I read
the last word I don't recall what the paragraph was about. No, it's no
mistake or oversight that ACIM is tough to read. And it's not in Jesus'
nature to make it tough to exclude anyone, or as a cruel hoax. No, ACIM is
tough for a reason.a loving reason that gently bends to the contours of
God's plan for salvation.

Today as I was speaking with an ACIM friend he asked me, "Ken, you don't
really expect me to understand the book do you?" I opened my mouth and the
following words blurted out. "George, the only time the book has no value is
when you understand it. Why would I want you to understand it?" My mouth
was doing the talking but the words never even formed in my head. "George,
the only time the book has no value is when you understand it. Why would I
want you to understand it?" I rushed to write down these confusing words.

Silence on the other end of the line. George and I both understood that his
understanding of its message was contrary CONTRARY to the purpose for the
book! I guess that understanding is not necessary for "removing the blocks
to the awareness of love's presence, which is your natural inheritance. " In
fact it seems that ACIM was written to thwart its own understanding.

This is the first and only book I have read where understanding was contrary
to its purpose. I could give you my take on the meaning of what I said, but
this might keep you from speaking with your personal Guide to salvation.

A Course in Miracles is tough for a Reason. A damn good Reason!

By the way, I must say "thank you" to my lady friend for her complaints and
to George for his perplexity. "Only appreciation is an appropriate response
to your brother. Gratitude is due him for both his loving thoughts and his
appeals for help, for both are capable of bringing love into your awareness
if you perceive them truly." (T-12.I.6)

They both brought Love into my awareness.
